French
French is an International language which is spoken in more than twenty countries in Africa. It is valued highly as a vehicle of literature, thought and diplomacy, and is the third most useful language for business (Bloomberg rankings). The increasing pace of African co-operation and globalisation has enhanced opportunities for employment in the field of languages, and makes a thorough knowledge of the language and culture of France and Francophone countries particularly relevant and rewarding.
