Areas of Specialisation

I hail from an inter-disciplinary background, with a flair for African Languages. At the undergraduate level, I majored in Community Development and IsiZulu. I then narrowed my interests to IsiZulu during the three postgraduate levels. My speciality during Honours and Master’s was Onomastics (the study of names). I then diverted to Literature during my doctoral studies. In my PhD thesis, I provide a critical analysis of Contemporary Zulu Performance Poetry.
